I am done with Evening Rises in the Necropolis. Things took a strange turn last week--I thought of a scene I had no intention of writing, ever. I debated with myself as to whether I should write it at all, as I had told myself that such a scene did not belong in the story, but the story really wanted it. A lovely little scene, and then wandering in the city I tasted Spanish fig cake, and knew it was just the thing to serve at The Mouth of Hell.

After that, the story sort of felt like it was reaching its conclusion, like it was winding down, despite the fact that there were two or even three more adventures that I thought the wounded girl should go on--but I found she didn't need them. The progression was done and it was good. *I* pronounce it good anyway.

I had removed it because I thought it was too personal, but it has returned. You special people know where it is. To those who don't...I can tell you. Just ask nicely.

I am also pretty much done with the famous "Evening Rises in the Necropolis" Mix--I know Noe and Rachael wanted to hear it. Who else wants to?

Also, Stephanie, after you read it, please tell me if you're still interested in illustrating/manga-izing it. Because I TOTALLY am, especially now that I am done (needs to be edited but the major stuff is done)
